work and more work

Have been spending almost all of my free hours this week in the studio trying to catch up on work! I think i have finally got to the point where i feel like i am doing ok which is good! Got my first final spread finished yesterday and have added text on InDesign to see what it will look like when done. May try and get another one done today if i have time since tomorrow is our first cheerleading competition aaaaahhhh and we are going out in cheer uniform sat night after being out all day so sunday i will almost definitely be too knackered to do good drawing!

more mess

Ok so right now i am having a massive panic about the fact that we have a deadline in just over a week and i am much more behind than i first thought.. awesome. So anyway i did a few pages in my mess book since scribbling lots generally calms me down and now i am starting on the proper work!

 

chocolate mug cake om nom

Got bored and decided to try this, recipe was taken from here

but i had no cocoa powder so used nutella which made it more gooey :)

I wish i had icecream to put with it now!

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons nutella
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.

Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

Ok i think 4 nights out in a row has slaughtered me a little bit.. Have caught a slight cold and now i am not really feeling up to doing anything apart from chilling out and watching some iplayer and greys anatomy! Last night was fun anyway, i went to a friends for a "childrens party" themed 20th! all fun and games with party food, pass the parcel and lots of jelly and icecream :D. 

Was thinking of doing some drawing today but ended up just doing shopping and going online... i figure tomorrow can be my productive day, need to draw some trees from life so i may well end up just sitting in the park for a couple of hours!

this week

I am currently looking forward to my first stupidly busy week since the week before halloween when i went out 6/7 nights in a week! We have 3 weeks left on our fairytale project which means I have loads of work to do including a dummy book of my story, layout plans, character development and more experimentation. This means I have no time for being hungover...

Which sucks because starting from Wednesday I have 4 nights out in a row. Kit night with the cheerleaders, not to be missed, Example playing in Oceana thurs which will be amazing, a house party at the boyf's house on friday and a kids themed party with vodka jelly and icecream on saturday... Mental!

Ah well I am chilling out tomorrow to prepare myself for the craziness which means a short meeting in the morning then some drawing at the aquarium! awesome!
