Hey everyone. So have been thinking about this for a while. This blog has ended up being more about my personal life than my artwork! And therefore i have decided to set up a new one purely for my illustration work! Please head over to http://josiejumpillustration.blogspot.com/ and follow me if you are interested!I will still use this one, just more for crazy ramblings and photos :)

S'mores and new shoes

Hmm so here is what i have been up to the past week or so. The boyfriend came to visit for a few days which meant doing a few crazy things including lots of interesting food. Baked bean, bacon and sweetcorn pizza (which i didnt eat and slightly fell apart), scones with clotted cream and jam, pimms, and S'mores.
Havent had s'mores for years! We made a campfire in the garden and toasted marshmallows before squashing them onto chocolate digestives, it was unbelievably awesome!
Have been trying to be more healthy recently i think i went slightly off track a few times this week... Spent today shopping in swindon outlet centre with my best friend. I planned on finding some nice sensible leather boots... ended up with an amazing pair of leather converse from footlocker! Not what i was looking for but i love them all the same!

lots of hairbands

I am already unbelievably bored of being at home. However this does mean i get on with important jobs such as updating my folksy shop with the hairbands i made aaaages ago! I secretly want to keep them all but my bank account is a little sad recently so i figured i should try and sell some things!

happy 4th of July!

Ok this is perhaps 2 days late but nevermind. I have been off all over the place the past couple of weeks! Went to France for a week with my uni flatmates and their friends, there ended up being about 15 of us all helping my flatmates parents with odd jobs and building work on their barn. Was great fun, especially the evenings spent eating large amounts of food and drinking even larger amounts of very cheap wine!
Flew back into London and went straight to visit my friend Hannah who had a load of us to stay for some partying and celebration for her birthday and to say goodbye before she goes off to america for uni next year (jealous much!)
So we had a couple of nights out in Windsor, lots of Pimms and jelly shots! Went for a boat ride down the river, cream teas at the Duchess of Cambridge, and a night out in London, american themed for independence day!!!
I went out dressed as Miss America, almost forgot it was the 4th only to be reminded by the many americans in the texass embassy bar who all thought we were very patriotic americans! "OMG are you miss america?" "yes... im english.." awkward! Ah well they seemed impressed by our efforts at joining in the celebration!
